Homes for Good (Scotland) CIC has been created to change the way people access the private rented sector, to improve standards and support people to access quality, affordable homes which suit their requirements.

The private rented sector (PRS) has experienced significant growth in the last 10 years - in Glasgow, the PRS has expanded by 240% in the last decade, with privately rented homes now accounting for 1 in 6 households in the city.

Working initially in Glasgow and Ayrshire, we will provide an equally high level of customer care for tenants and landlords alike, based on communication and developing relationships, and the starting point that the property is a both a home for the tenant and a valuable asset for the landlord. We will work with tenants both in social housing need, young people who are unable to buy, and professionals for whom renting is a
lifestyle choice. We will create additional services to support all tenants to enjoy successful tenancies in comfortable homes, and create conditions for tenants to see their rented property as a long term housing option.
